OT: Good news at my house!

Hello to my friends......... I was on vacation for a couple weeks, and am just now getting back on the boards. Just wanted to share my happy happy news! Our youngest son and his wife came down to visit today to announce to us that they will not be going ahead on their plans to adopt a child.......................becasue she is PREGNANT!!!! They have been married for 11 years, and have been trying to have a baby for well over 6 years, only to be told they had a less than 5% chance of conceiving! They said her fertility doctor was very surprised!!!! Anyway, we will be getting our 2nd grandchild in April! One sort of interesting thing, is that one of her sisters is also pregnant and is due the day before! Won't that be fun?! We had a great vacation! Now I am 2 weeks from surgery! Wi**** were tomorrow! Hi, Cheryl, glad you are back. What wonderful news. Congratulations. It seems like that happens all the time. I know a few people who have adopted and then they have their own. I guess their anxiousness to have a child relaxes when they decide to adopt and then nature takes its course. Good luck with your surgery. Keep in touch. Mickey
