Hello From Salina

Hey, hope everyone is well and doing good. wanted to let everyone know heard from patty and pam at livlite in j/c said they talked to my ins company who is bcbs of pa they said i would be accepted if i met the medical criteria so i am waiting to see what that is,hoping its nothing drastic my bmi is only 38.7 so she said i may have to gain weight to be able to have it even tho she was not suppose to tell me that to get my bmi up too 40,crazy huh? but she knows how bad i want this surgery,well hope all is well and will post as i get info,take care.sherri

Hope it turns out that you can have the surgery. Don't you hate it when other people control your life and make the decisions on what you should and shouldn't do. Mickey

Wishing you good luck. Pam and Patty are GREAT. I had my surgery at Junction City with Drs Stevens and Bolleman (Stevens is gone, haven't met the ndw doc yet). It is an awesome hospital and you will get great service there. Pam and Patty will steer you in the right directions. Don't think I would have gotten through the process without them. Curious about gaining weight.... are you not at least 100 pounds overweight? I don't thinkk insurance would pay if you are not at least 100 pounds over weight. I started at 430 pre-op, 403 the day of surgery 11/3/04) and 284 as of today,
