Hi,I was just wondering if all the protein drinks have a after taste.I have been sampleing different kinds, and I can't find one that is very good.I ordered some from Vitalady, lemonade, fuzzy navel, chocolate, strawberry.I have tried all of them and they aren't very tasty.Do any of you know of a good one to try? I want to find one before my week of liquids. Thanks for whatever suggestions you could give me!Deb

Hey, Debra, on one of the forums somebody recommended ON 100% Whey Chocolate Mint. I think they said they got it at GNC. But I am not sure. I haven't tried any yet. So I am not sure. Mickey

I can't help you much, I don't drink them but a couple of times a week. The one I really really liked is no longer made. So I Have to find a new one too. I have found the only way I really like them is icy cold and thick. I put the powder and milk in a blender (i use a stick blender) with about a half cup ice and blend. Comes out really really thick and cold like a milk shake. I order through bariatriceating.com. You can order samples, and not have to buy a big container until you find one you like. None of the fruity ones tasted good to me and neither did strawberry or vanilla. I only cared for the chocolate flavors. Canned or pre-mixed also taste bad in my opinion. Someone recommended Champion Pure Whey Stack... but I have not tried it.

Thanks ,Joan I'll try that website.I'll try milk too.I like skim milk okay,so that shouldn't add too many calories.I have a smoothie maker,I think it will work ok.I like chocolate too,so I'll order some from the website you suggested.Deb

If you have been making them with water, that may be the problem. I can't stand tehm made with water. I use 1% milk. Don't worry about the calories, you are not eating enought to worry about them at this point. PLUS using milk just increases the protein. A double whammy!
