Home from Hospital!

Got home from the hospital yesterday after having my Lower body lift. I got a little nervous when the doctor was poking his finger in the middle of my stomach, I thought that my incision had opened and would have to heal from the inside out, Nope, It was my BELLY BUTTON!!! I had no idea where that puppy would actually be! I don't ever remember seeing it there! Good thing I had a binder on or I would have really hurt myself laughing!! I fee surprisingly well. I take my pain meds and valium which is to keep your stomach muscles from spasming, he tied them togehter to make a flatter stomach. You all know how bad I am with pictures but I will try to send you one if you would like to see it. At this point, my back is getting a little sore from sitting upright so I am going to go back to my recliner but wanted to thank you all for your prayers and kind thoughts and let you know that, although this is not fun by any means, it is not as bad as my open RNY!! I am able to get up and down pretty well as long as I take care to do it slowly. Take care, have a great week and please remember when you see this new picture of me it is still BRENDA!!!! Congratulations Brenda!! I have been thinking alot about PS, as i know I will h ave to have it done, but that will probably be another year yet. I cannot imagine having it done. It is good to hear you are having such good luck. Joan
