Debra, did your sister-in-law have her surgery today

Debra, I am posting on both forums. Not sure which one you will check. I was just wondering if your sister-in-law had her surgery today. Let me know how everything went. Mickey

Hey,Mickey! Yes,she had her surgery at 11:30 today.I talked to my brother-in-law at 2:30 he said she was out of recovery and in her room,everything went fine.He said she was thirsty,but all she could have was ice chips.She was feeling fine,no pain,but she is on pain meds.I am going in the morning to see her.I will update tomorrow night.She lives in Topeka ,she doesn't post on here,she did once ,her profile is on here.Her name is Diana Mercer.But she hasn't updated anything.I don't know if she will now that she had her surgery or not.Talk to you later,Deb

Mickey, Went to see my sis-in-law,she feels great,no pain at all,she said her back quit hurting already. It sure makes me look forward to my surgery,she had such an easy time.I hope mine goes as well.She got to eat broth and jello the next morning after surgery.Didn't have any problems keeping it down,she says her stomach doesn't feel any different.She is already talking about going back to work earlier than she planned. She went home Sat. and she can sleep on her right side with no problem.I was worried about that ,cause I don't sleep well on my back. Write me back when you have time! Deb

Hey, I am glad everything went great and she is feeling good. I was wondering because I hadn't heard from you in a while. Sometimes, reading the posts on here makes you kind of wonder. LOL About the pain, I mean. I have been on the main forum reading because they do alot more writing than the other two. Did you guys have any flooding problem down where you live? Boy, Soldier creek up north is full to the brim. We don't remember ever seeing it this full. I was getting tired of the lightening and thunder Saturday night. About the time I would get to sleep another round would go through. Brenda told me as soon as I go to my next psych evaluation (wed, the 5th) and everything is a go, she will schedule my surgery. Did Dr. Abbott tell you on your second visit anything. Did you ask her if she had approved you. I don't really know why she wouldn't approve me. I am pretty sane. LOL Well, take care and stay dry. Hi, No we didn't get hardly any rain here.We were at my brother-in-laws last evening,they live right in Topeka.They really had alot of rain while we were there,he guessed about 5 inches when I talked to him this morning.When we drove home about 8:30 we drove out of it at Carbondale.Strange to get this much rain all at once. Dr. Abbott told me I was a good candidate for surgery.I asked her the second appointment,she didn't tell me on her own.I decided I wasn't going back to her,because( they)insurance only require two visits,I couldn't see the point,after she appoved me and I got my surgery date.I had scheduled another appointment but after Brenda called me with a date ,I called and cancelled.
