Talked to Dr's office today

I called the Dr's office today to ask some questions. In the meantime I called the insurance this afternoon. The insurance said that a letter had been sent. Somebody was suppose to call me back from insurance but haven't. Then the Dr's office called me this evening and said they had sent my letter off to insurance on Sept. 9th. Earlier than I thought. I am so happy. But then I also had this big lump in my throat. I think it was my stomach.LOL Just wanted to let you know. Mickey

When the Doctor's office sent my info to the insurance,nobody called me ,but I recieved a letter saying I was approved.I called them several times,and they finally looked it up on the computer and said yes I was approved. I don't think they mind when you call(insurance)after all they work for us,right.If you get someone that gets snoddy,tell them you want to talk to someone else that can help you.Your Dr.office told you that they recieved the paperwork on Sept. 9,they should know by now. I know about being nervous,I'm starting to get a little scared.My sister-in-law has her surgery tomorrow with Dr. Bernstein,I will let you know how it goes. Keep your chin up,we're gonna do fine! Hey, they kept sending me around and around, saying I needed to talk to this person and then this person. And they would call me back. Finally, this morning when they said they would connect me to this person, but they would probably have to call me back, I said I won't be home today. So, she transferred me then went to get the guy, so he would answer the phone. I thought that was nice. He told me everything was set, they just needed a surgery date. Brenda said I needed to go to my second psych evaluation next week, then she would schedule the surgery. That is okay with me, I am just glad the insurance got approved. Let me know how your sister-in-law does during surgery. Does she get on this website? Mickey
