Plastic Surgery Surgeons?

Are there any recommended surgeons in Kansas who do post-gastric bypass-type plastic surgery? Belt lipectomy, etc? Love to hear from anyone. I am not there yet, but could someday be and wanted to start checking out my options. Please e-mail me too, if you want. Thanks, Susan S.

Greetings to you ... As a fellow journey member, I can relate to this question.. Yes, I know personally of two different surgeons that are very good with this kind of surgery.. One is Dr. Poggi, in Wichita.. he did my breast reduction and does all these others too.. and then there is the Lawrence Plastic surgery group which is .. Dr. John Keller and Dr. Thellman.. those two come to our support meetings up in Topeka at the St. Francis Hospital and tell us all about these procedures.. all these are wonderful surgeons and can and should be considered.. Several people I know who are post-op have had PS done at KU Med Center in KC. They are a lot cheaper than most places, at least that is what I have been told. I don't much else, as PS is not in my immediate future. Good luck! Valena Lap RNY 5/3/2004, -145
