It has now been over a year since I had my surgery done on February 2, 2004, My life has taken such a big turn In the fact that I am able to do things that I only dreamed of before, I have learned that In able to maintain my weight here, I have responibility In taking care of this body , so I walk 3 to 4 times a week, I feel so good In taking better care of myself, the surgery was an opportunity to get to where I am , now It Is up to me to take care and do what I know Is right to be able to maintain a healthy lifestyle, God and Dr Opie and the staff at Olathe Medical center gave me the chance of a lifetime to give me back my life of hope, happiness, and to be myself agaun, I will never be able to repay this debt to them, but my heart will always have a love for all of them In appreciation, I cant remember all the names Involved but want to say that Marsha, who heads up the support groups really cares about each and every person In that class, she has been there and experienced all of this herself and dedicates herself to helping others , Its a blessing to have her there teaching, coaching, encouraging all of us from start to finish within our surgeries.

May your life be all you ever thought it could be. I am hoping to have Dr. Opie do my surgery hopefully before the year is over. He seems like a wonderful person when I met him. Take care! Missy
