HI its me again !! Good news! (i hope)
I would like to thank those *****plied to my last message, it is SO good to hear from others that may be in the same situation. I HAVE MY FIRST CONSULTATION ON MAY 14TH!!!!! I am hoping I am on my way to running and playing with my kids and grandkids!. Swinging on a swing, sliding on a slide. All the things that seem so trivial are a big deal when you cant do them. I know it takes time. But I am hoping that someday I will be there. I am not in the least bit scared to go thru with all this, my husband IS scared and i can understand why but he is just a little thing..hehe, I don't think he fully understands. How could he? My one son says," mom it will be weird, to hug you skinny, I will miss your BIG hugs."
But they are so understanding. And are all behind me 100%. I will keep you all posted on what happens next. HUGZZZZZZZ to all of you.
Hey Angela! Congratulations, you are going to be on your way to a healthier you in no time! I understand your husbands feelings too. It is a scary thing to have a love one go through so manmy changes. I am sure he is concerned you will change along with your body. Sometimes that does happen, sometimes not. But if you have his support, everything will work out the way it is supposed to.
Keep us posted on your progress!!

Welcome on this journey to good health and long life. One of the most amazing things I found from this surgery was, I could get up out of a chair and the chair was no longer still attached.. ha ha ha ha felt mighty good to me.. and then was able to fly on an airplane and did not have to pay for an extra seat.. yahoo... can tie my own shoes, heck sakes can put on my own shoes.. so there are so many wonderful blessings from this surgery.. My husband was worried sick but today will tell you in a hearbeat.. he is thrilled with ME.. You take care now and keep on posting.. Have a great weekend, Hugs, Fran
