Anyone in or near Tribune?

I have a friend in Tribune/Horace and he had surgery a little over a year ago. He is not doing very well with eating properly and it looks like he is going to have to have surgery again to close the opening into his stomach. He was told he has to lose 50 pounds before they will consider doing the surgery. He really needs some support but he is the type that won't ask for it. I am doing what I can to support him but being so far away makes it rough. I was wondering if there is anyone that lives close to him that would be willing to encourage him. He has had a lot going on in his personal life which isn't helping him. Thank you! Feel free to e-mail me about this!
