Protein Drinks

Does anyone have any suggestions on where to buy the powdered protein drinks? Maybe different flavors and what brand it best, I don't want anything that taste chalky or bitter. Thanks

www.vitalady.com is a great resource for protein drinks. She sells samples of everything she carries. When I was Preop, I bought about 15 different samples to try. I finally settled on Nectar brand and Protein Delight brand as my 2 favorites. HTH

I got mine from bariatriceating.com She too sells sample packets, and like your other post, I bought several different flavors to try. My favorite was ProPleat Gold, Double Chocolate Ice Cream. yummmmmmmm but only mixed with skim milk. Get a stick blender. After blending the powder and milk, blend in ice until smooth. They become really think, creamy and almost like a milk shake. I find when they are really cold, they taste better. I did not like the fruit flavors at all. I think bariatriceating.com is a little cheaper than vitalady.com. Check both before ordering.

I use Pro-Stat 64. It's a liquid that comes in Wild cherry & butter pecan. You can add 30ml to drinks. It has no chalky or bitter taste. You can order it online, just do a search for it. I'm also eating "cold Fusion" frozen popsicles which are high protein & low frutose. So far no dumping. It's nice to get the popsicles delivered right to the door packed in dry ice.
