protein drinks

I am wanting to get some liquid protein drink to take on a trip. I have a powdered mix I love, but for convenience, a canned version would be better. I tried Adkins Advantage, and absolutely hated the smell and aftertaste. Any suggestions?

Hiya Joan, I like the AdvantEDGE shakes in the foil packs from wal-mart. I hated the Adkins drinks too. I have tried lots and lots of prepackaged protein shakes and this is the only one I can tolerate. Personally, I'd rather take along my MGF-2 powder and mix on the road. Good luck!

Thanks Deb!! Going to Walmart tomorrow, I will pick up some and try them. I would take along the powder, but I tried mixing it in one of those Tupperware shakers, and it never blended as smoothly as with my stick blender. Plus I like blending with Ice so they are really thick. I probably won't drink many, but I would like to take them along just in case I am short on protein and/or can't find a place to eat on the road. btw, I used to live in Paola, many many years ago. I worked at Lakemary and rented a house on a street I can't remember, but it was just down from the Luthern church. I think I have ben back in lawrence for 17 years, so that is how long ago it has been. I really liked living there. Such a nice town. Every now and then I take a drive and visit, just to see what has changed. Always surprized what is still there and what is gone. Sure is growning. Joan
