Okay, Where Are You All???
Hey folks.. what's up? Where is everyone? Now stop using excuses here.. we all have a life.. I think.. and besides there are no holidays and no kids out of school on vacation so come on now.. working is no excuse either.. we need some support here and help.. Okay I know, no more preaching.. would begging work? Ha ha ha ha ha All kidding aside now.. needing some daily support here.. have re-gained three pounds and this really scares me to peices... so have started writing down every single bite and drop that go into my mouth.. Yesterday was a good day and stayed at 976 calories and the carbs were really low too.. yahoo. victory.. Hey, I will take what I can get for a victory nowadays.. ha ha ha ha
Do hope all are well and losing or staying steady... healthy is the key word now .... HEALTHY... yep, that is what I want to be.. thin would be nice but I will settle for healthy--working towards thinner.. ha ha ha ha had to get that in there someplace.
Come on Kansas.. let's get this post going.. I know it sure helped me alot when I first started and maybe we can help someone else too.. Click and Deanna and Brenda and well you all know who you are out there.. miss you all very very very much. Wishing you a great day here in sunshiny Kansas... Take care one and all. LOve and Hugs to you, Fran
I don't know too much about where you are now or where you started from, but I do know that you have replied to several of my postings so I know that you care. If you are able I know that getting more exersise will help more than anything. I know that burning more calories than you take in has to work, allthough it might still take a little time. Other than that I guess you just need to keep track of what goes in and what goes out. Good luck.
Thank you so much.... this response has actually helped me alot and renewed my faith in folks.. So here is what I have done and accomplished in these past couple of days..
Am already a year and 5 months out.. and now started writing down every bite and drop that goes into my mouth.. and IT WORKS... have now found out what is wrong and where I have failed myself.. and have now dropped off those three pounds and sent two more with them !!! Yahoo.. Had some hidden carbs lurking around and did not even realize how many calories I was taking in.. wowee.. so now that this has come to light.. maybe I can get lighter too.. ha ha ha ha ha hope so anyway.
Have also increased my excersize.. thought I was doing good but once I wrote down how many times or how much time I spent on the Gazelle Edge.. well what sure was another shock.... Guess you could say I have been shocked to reality.. So new plans and new efforts.. and for this encouragement, I thank these folks that have responded.. thank you so much for your willingness to help others.. thank you for taking the time to type out these words to help a fellow loser.. You are the greatest !!!! Hope you are all having a good weight loss journey.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend and great week ahead.. Have a good day, Hugs to you, Fran
Hey Franny...sorry I'm late!!!LOL Looks like you've got things well in hand...GOOD FOR YOU!!!! Just take it one day at a time sweetie!!! I'm having to give myself a reality check too...starting a protein fast today...try to get the carb cravings to go away again. It's been kinda hard to focus on myself with Baby Lilly...but it's time to get this stuff moving again.
Glad your here taking care of folks...
BIG HUGS

Fran! So sorry to disappear on you! I always tell people at my support group that I hope to see less of them!!! Maybe I am taking that too literally? HAHA! Whenever I find a couple pounds coming back on I make sure I get my protein first and up my water and excercise a bit. As a female there is a time every month where it goes up a little so may be nothing to it but to go through it! Don't worry, just follow your rules!!
I love hearing from you and everyone. I am sorry and I hope you will excuse my absence as besides my regular life, I decided to go back to school and studying seems to take me longer every year older I get!! Senility? I don't know I can't remember!
Hugs to you all, God bless you all wherever you are on your journey.
Hi Fran.
I am here too, although I am relativily new to the message boards, I relied heavily on OH when I was researching and learning more about this surgery. I have been hanging out at the 50+ board, but check out the Kansas board everyday too. I will mnake a point of posting more here too.
Anyway, I am a little over 3 months out, had open RNY in Junction City. I am currently down 68 pounds. I started working out at the gym about 4 weeks ago, which is a really big deal for me. I am up to 18 min on the treadmill and I lift weights for about 30 min. I am so happy I made this decision!!!
