need some advice please

I was told that rice was bad to eat if you are trying to get your blood sugars down, Is lightly salted rice cakes okay,I am having surgery on feb 25th 2005, I am desperate, any suggestions??

Hi Marcy, We're twins. I am scheduled to have my surgery on the 25th as well. I would suggest anything with high protein and low carbs. Carbs turn into sugar and though they are not bad for us, they should be eaten in small quantities.
