Hi All~ Just wanted to share with you that as of this morning, I have lost 100 pounds. I am so excited!! I am not sure if the reality of this milestone has even really sunk in yet. I am so much healthier now than I was as a preop 4 1/2 months ago and I thank God for this second chance. Thanks for letting me brag a little and share my news with you! Have a Blessed Christmas! Thank You Thank You THANK YOU!!!!!!!!! AS a sister in the Lord, and a sister Kansan, I was really jazzed to read your story! I am waiting for the date of my initial appointment with the surgery group in Junction City. Have already been thru Dr. Early's weight loss program in Wichita, lost 50, gained 60.,,,,,, but to read of your success and reaching the century mark in Less than 6 months! WOW! My insurance will cover over 90% of the costs, so as soon as i can get the surgery scheduled, maybe as soon as early February, then it's up up and away!!! (or down down and aweigh ... ;-} i look forward to more great news from you on this exciting journey you are on! prayers for you, and please pray for me, Anita Trainer Wichita

Thats the kind of results that I am hopeing for. I have lost 100 pounds in 6 months twice but this time I should not gain it back again. Good luck with the rest of your life.

How did you lose 100 pounds in 4 1/5 months? PLEASE tell me your secret! I had surgery 11/29/04 and have lost 50 pounds but the scales haven't moved in 2 weeks - I'm getting discouraged! Please share your routines, maybe it will help. thanks

Karis` The only secrect I have to share is daily praising God for my success and following "the rules"! I have a protein drink for breakfast each day, which is 30 grams of protein, usually a small Stouffer's dinner for lunch (chicken variety...they are to die for & 20+ grams of protein), and whatever for dinner...sometimes Chinese, sometimes Mexican, sometimes just a piece of ww toast w/ p.b. basically whatever I am hungry for. The big thing is to stop eating as soon as you feel full and do not drink with your meal. I really feel that following these two rules alone have helped my success. My excercise program leaves a lot to be desired! I am a member at Curves, but have not been faithful. I just started back on my glider machine at home and feel pretty good about that. I need to walk or something as my surgeon is going to chew me out when I go in for my six month check up in February if I don't get it in gear!! As of today, I have lost 113 pounds and feel amazing. I will most likely need a breast reduction/lift, but truthfully I needed that even before surgery. My skin is doing well overall and I am down from a size 26/28 to a 16 or xl. I use a product called Body Butta several times a week after my shower and I do believe it has helped my skin with elasticity. I hope this helps you out a bit. Please let me know if there is ANYTHING else that I can share or help you with. Prayers for success are with you. Blessings, Rachel T.
