Help.

I am on Fort Leavenworth and a post-op patient.-a little over a year out. Does anyone know of a support group close. I had my surgery done in North Carolina and I am feeling very alone regarding the surgery. I appreciate your help. Thank you, Ellen

I don't know if you would think a 45 to 60 minute drive would be too far to come to a support group. There is one that meets in Merriam, KS. I think it about an hour from Leavenworth. The website is [email protected]. I know it only meets once a month. It is run by Barb Stras 913-381-1979. We will be having a Christmas party at the next meeting. I think it is the 21st of Dec and they meet at 2pm at the Merriam Library. It is not too far from I 35. Anyhow Barb is great. I am still waiting for a date so still preop.
