Needing Surgeon for Adolescent in Midwest

We are in need of a doctor in the midwest area to do surgery on my daughter Amber who is 14. We have been advised by our regular doctor that she has to have this surgery to help lose weight or within one year she will more than likely be in a wheelchair. I am in great need. Our doctor has submitted information to the insurance company and has been told that upon finding a doctor that there will be no problems with final approval.

Amber, Dr. Khadi Udobi at KU Med Center is an excellent surgeon. I have went to him 2 different times to try to get surgery done, but since I don't have the right insurance, I still am trying. I am a nurse, and I have heard nothing but good things about him. I think that I would trust him if my daughter needed surgery. Also, he is a regular surgeon, too. I had a patient that was in a car accident last year, and he is the doctor that did her immediate surgery when she had her car crash. Call KU Medical Center and speak with his secretary, Gail, and tell her your situation. Good luck.
