Surgery on the 21st in Topeka

Hi! I am about to have my surgery in 2 weeks or so. I was wondering, did anyone else have their surgery with Tallgrass? If so, I haven't been able to find anyone. Is there anyone having surgery around the same time? Thanks!!!!! Please share you experience, or your concerns! Billie

Hi Billie, I'm Cat, i had my surgery in Jan of this year and let me tell you, it was the best experience with surgery i have ever had. You will love the staff and the doctors! Dr. Bernstein was my surgeon and Dr. Dunshee was the other person who assisted. They are so wonderful and caring. Dont worry about anything, they will treat you very well and if you have any concerns while they are preping you, dont hesitate to ask them. they will go step by step with you just let them know you are scared and would like them to just take it slow and let you know what all is going on. They were sooooo wonderful to me when i got there and the entire time i was there. So dont stress girlfriend!!! You will be fine!!! Hugs to ya Cat Open RNY 1-19-04 -166 lbs.

Hello Cat, thank you very very much! I met Dr. Dunshee a couple of months ago at an appt, he was so incredibly informative that I had very few questions for him when he was finished speaking. I will be seeing him again this Thursday, the 14th, and my surgery is on the 21st!! I am so happy to hear that you doing wonderful! I wish you continued luck! Billie

Billie, Congrats on your upcomming surgery! Yo are going to a wonderful place with VERY caring surgoens. I ewnt there myself. Dr Steward is my surgoen with Berstien assisting..I am 5 months out from surgery today and have lost a total of 73 lbs. Ilook forward to meeting you at an up comming meeting. Wow. Today is the 19th . Your surgery is in 2 more days. Im so happy for you. I will be thinking about you and praying for you. Im also having my surgery in topeka with tallgrass. Mine is November 4th. Man Im scared. My pre-op is the 28th with Dr. Brenstein. I was pleased to see someone else with the same surgeon reply to you.
