Has anyone had their surgery in Junction City?- I am having surgery on Dec. 14th. Dr. Bollman is my surgeon. I met with him last week and I was very impressed with him and his nurse. They both seem to truly care about their patients. I was just wanting to talk with someone that has actually had surgery. I would like to know your thoughts about the hospital, the surgeons, and the nursing staff. Thank you so much, Tracy

CONGRATS!!!!! I had my surgery 2yrs ago with Dr Bollman(WONDERFUL MAN!!) and you're right they both do really care about all of us. I had a very good stay in the hospital..everyone was very caring and attentive. There are nurses there now that have had the surgery as well and know just how you feel and what you need. Feel free to holler at me anytime!!! BIG HUGS, Deanna K

Hi Tracy I had my surgery in JC also. You will love all the people that work there. Everyone is super and so professional. You will be cared for probably better then at most bigger hospitals. The aftercare is first rate also. As far as I'm concerned there is NO place else to go but LivLIte in JC with Dr. Bollman and Dr. Stevens and everyone. Dr. Stevens is my doctor and he is wonderful. Read through my profile. Email me and I'll answer more questions. Hugs to you and good luck! Carmen Open RNY 5/28/03 398/360/224/125

Hi Tracy I had my surgery April 1, of this yr. Dr. Bollman was my main dr, but he was gone immed. after my surgery, so Dr. Stevens visited me in the hosp. They are both wonderful, caring men, who are not judgemental, and genuinely care about each and every one of us. The nursing staff as well as all the staff , from resp. therapy, xray, lab, EVERYONE, right down to the housekeeping staff are caring, friendly people. You will not be sorry you elected to have your surgery at this hosp. I wont say good luck, because you wont need luck.....you will have very skilled drs. and hosp. staff to take care of you. Suzanne

Tracy, I had my surgery on 9-10-04 at JC. My surgeon also was Dr. Bollman. I had nothing but a pleasant experience! I found it most helpful to have nurses who have had the procedure done themselves. They personally know what you are going through and what to expect! Being post op, I am impressed at how quickly my calls are returned if I have any questions for Dr. Bollman! Feel free to e-mail me with any questions that may come up! Congratulations! Tonya Dresher

I had gastric bypass on 12/22/03 in Junction City by Dr. Bollman...honestly I thought I would never make it just because it was a small hospital and I had never heard of hospital or the Dr. before I started researching Gastric Bypass...but low-and-behold I soon found out Dr. Bollman is the BEST, I had no problems at all...words really can't describe him or the staff. I just wanted to add my experience in J.C....like everyone else it was perfect....No complaints at all..I would recommend J.C. in a heart beat. Oh yes.... this was the very first surgery that I ever had and I would drive fours again if I ever needed another operation. Michelle Mejia Dodge City, Kansas 12/22/03 385/260/180
