Hey everyone I just wanted to give a quick update. I'm 2 months out and have lost 41#. I absolutely can not believe it!! I saw a friend of mine on Friday, someone I hadn't seen since my surgery and she almost dropped her jaw when she saw me!! What a great feeling. I also hit a great sale at Big Lots here in Salina and found work pants for $2 a pair ranging from size 20 - 24!! I bought 10 pairs of pants!! It's still hard to believe I may be able to wear them. I have gone from a tight 28W to a loose 26W. Big Lots also had Dr. Phil's protein shakes they are really good and have 26 grams of protein. Just thought I'd pass that along. I also wondered if anyone had tried drinking diet pop before 6 months out. I know I can have flat diet pop, but what about regular? I've heard that it really makes people sick. Any comments? Jami

Hi Jami, I tried to respond to you in a private email after you posted to my post this morning.....mainly I was asking how you were doing....and then I came on the KS board and see you posted!! Great job! and how exciting! You will be in those smaller pants in no time. I can't believe I can wear lots of 14's now....truly amazing! I also have a couple 14's that are too tight but they will fit within a month or so, I'm sure. Anyway, keep up the great work!! Jenni

Jami... YOU are just doin' AWESOME SWEETIE!!!! What a steal!!! I just LOVE shopping the clearance racks!!!! I'm just now getting to where I can drink a little "fresh soda" (22months) and that's usually root beer or orange because it fizzles out fast, but everyone is so different. I think it really depends on how determined you are to drink it, so it really is your call babe!!! IMHO!!!! BIG HUGS Deanna K
