WLS Support Group in Wichita?

Are there any support groups in Wichita for pre and post WLS? I will be having my surgery in Junction City but live outside Wichita. If so, are there any costs, etc? Thanks...

Hi, I will be having my surgery in Junction too. Aug. 25th. They have support meeting with the hospital...but I think they are for the people that have their surgery at that hospital. I live in Ark city, ks.

Hey Ladies...sounds like maybe the two of you could just be surgery buddies...getting support from one another... There have been a few suport groups in Wichita but they seem to fall apart. I run one in Hutch...you would always be welcome ANYTIME!!! BIG HUGS Deanna K

Hi had my surgery in Wichita 11 days ago. There is a support group that meets at the Genisis on central and Woodlawn every Tues night at 5:30 pm. It's more of a keeping track of protien and water and exercise and weight loss together. I can get you the phone number to talk to the nurse that heads it up.
