Looking for BANDSTERS in the Wichita area!

Hi, all! I'm 6 days post op with my adjustable gastric band (Lap-band) and LOVING it! I know that only RNY's are being performed in Wichita right now and that there are a lot of support groups for those who've chosen that route. For me it wasn't the right choice. I'm looking for others in and around Wichita who would be interested in starting a support group meeting. I have one other girl who is just 3 days post op already signed up with me. Sarah, Have you checked into the program through Via Christi? Can you attend their meetings if you didn't have surgery in Wichita? I would think you could, but you never know. You're weight loss looks awesome for such a short time! email me if you don't find RNY people nearby. Eryn
