I posted yesterday and it never showed up. I have just changed my insurance and it will go into effect on July 1. Am I being presumuous in my thinking that I would be able to have my surgery by the end of August? Does it take everyone several months to finally have the surgery done? Does anyone have Boeing Traditional? How long did it take? Just wondering. Also, because I am a tad ADD, I have a problem with too much information...could someone tell me in a nut shell what I will have to do before the surgery? Thank you very much in advance. Deb

I has taken me about 6 months so far and I still haven't had my surgery. You have to go through quite a few hoops, pych. eval, preop blood and physical, according where you plan to have surgery if it is in Wichita you have to go to a 8 week preop class.

I had my surgery in Topeka Kansas I live in Wichita but they want you to attend an 800.00 class to lose weight it is a nine week course . By the way no insurence will pay for that class . If you go to topeka all you have to do is buy the 25.00 book read it and reserach the surgery yourself. It took me four weeks for insurnce to pass then another two months and I had my surgery. I researched for about two months before I ask insurence. Hope this helps. Sarah T
