support Group

I am looking for a support group in Wichita Kansas I had surgery in Topeka KAnsas but it is a long drive to Topeka all the time anyone know of one we can attend in Wichita???? Thank you ......

Hi Sarah, I don't know of one in Wichita. But my friend Jane Lewis might. She lives in Augusta and goes to a support group somewhere around there. I go to the Liv Lite support group in Junction City. We have girls drive down from Hutch. But, it's quite a drive. I live in Salina. So, I'm in the middle of Wichita and Junction City. Good Luck and congrats on making it to the "losing" side. There is a support group that meets at Genesis on East Central Tuesday nites from 5:30 to 6:30. Call the via christi wellness and prevention.

Mary, I would be interested to know if your support group is open to people who did not have surgery at via christi. I was told there would be $500.00 charge to be able to attend their closed support meeting?

yes that support group is open to people who has not had the surgery at via christi, and the charge is free.

Hey Sarah..We have a meeting here in Hutch...pretty informal but a GREAT bunch of people. We have people from several different surgeons including Topeka... We might be a little closer and would be thrilled to have you!!!! Our next meeting is this Thursday, May 27th.
