Kingman Kansas?

It's very possible that I might soon be temporarily assigned to work in Kingman, Kansas soon and wanted to know if anyone lives in that area. I have been told not to expect much in the way of restuarants and wanted to know about the grocery stores in the area. Any info is appreciated.

Welcome to Kansas! Kingman isn't a very big town and people there usually go into Hutchinson or Wichita to do any major shopping. Don't know about their grocery stores. Angie

Hi Janie~ Big Kansas HUG! Kingman is around 5500 in population. It is not very big and as someone else posted, Wichita or Hutcheson is where all of the amenities are. It is a nice town though... I live about an hour or so away, but I used to be Postmaster of a nearby town. Hope you enjoy your stay! Blessings, Rachel

Welcome to Kansas I live in Wichita, Kansas we have lots of stores and malls here. We have dillions. food- for-less super walmart , K-Mart and lots of eating places. I hope you will like it here. Sarah T
