I am so frustrated. How many hoops am I going to have to jump through. I just found out today that Nola won't even be sending the forms into my insurance company till I have another meeting with the psychologist and have 4 meetings with a counsoler. NEXT MONTH!!!! I have been jumping through hoops since January. And after she finally sends them in I get to wait while the insurance takes their time to give me an answer then I get to wait for the surgery date which will be months out.Does anyone know of another program in this area that is not so busy????

Dr. Stewart & Dr. Bernstien (sp?). topekaobesitysurgery... of course add the www. and .com good luck All they had me do was attend to one of their support meeting on saturday, do a psych. eval. then appt. with the surgeon, wait for the insurance company 1 week and another 1 1/2 week to get the letter of a date and pre-op date from their office. went to the support meeting 12-3-2003 got a call with my appt. with the surgeon on 12-18-2003 for 2-6-2004 saw the mental health person for the psych eval on 12-30-2003 Surgeon office called 12-31-2003 to reschedule appt to 2-17-2004 Saw Dr. Stewart on 2-17-2004 Letter from insurance company 1 week later letter from Surgeons office 1 1/2 week after that with my pre-op date and the date for my surgery.

I also went to Tallgrass (Dr. Steward) and my timeline was like this: late June- attended the seminar same day mailed in my paperwork Aug. 31- had first appt. with Dr. Steward I don't remember when I had my psych eval but it wasn't hard to get in for that.....I saw the "Liv-Lite" Psychologist in Manhattan, Dr. Coleman Tallgrass was a little slow for some reason getting my ins. request turned in but once turned in, I was approved in less than a week. Dec. 18- surgery.....pretty much a 6 mo. process Jenni
