anyone here buy their own insurance & covered?

I'm in Wichita and unfortunately, my husband will have Blue Cross insurance, who, was we all probably know, does not cover WLS. Anyone here buy their own insurance to cover the WLS? Anyone have any ideas on what I can do? Any help is greatly appreciated!
