I'm home from surgery!

Well I made it home late Wednesday evening. I finally can sit at the computer so I thought I would try to post today. Let's just say that nobody really talks about the first few days of this surgery and let me tell you, it has been tough! Lots of discomfort and you get so tired so easily! I know that it will all be worth it in the long run, but oh just to get there! I did get on my scales this morning and I have lost 12 pounds from what I weighed before I went in the hospital. I know I gained 6 pounds while I was in there so you could say I have already lost a total of 18 pounds! Well I will try to post more as I fell like it! My thanks to Cherie A. and Donna Marie. Donna had her surgery the same day and she really bounced back quickly. I know not everyone heals the same way, so I guess I'm just a little slower. Cherie is my godsend! I know I can call her no matter what time and she is there for me. Today is here 3 month anniversary of her surgery! You go girl! Talk with everyone again soon!

Dear Cindy, I'm so happy for you to be on the "losing" side! Every day will get easier and easier. You know I will be here for any questions you may have, and for all the support I can offer. I am excited for both of us and the journey we are taking - it will be fun to go through this together! I told you not to worry about that gain from the hospital...knew it would come right off. Get ready for the ride of your life! Here I am at 3 months and down 63 lbs.....very exciting! Call ANY time!!! Cherie
