I was reading somewhere that you have to be at least 25 for this sugery, does anyone know if this is true or not, thanks..

I suppose there might be some drs. somewhere that require that but there are lots of people younger than that who have had this surgery, including some in their teens. Jenni

My surgeon requires you to be at least 18. But there are clinics for those in there teens. If you look hard enough you can find surgeons that will tell you the absolute opposite of everything lol. There is no set age requirement but you have to find the surgeon who will work with you and that YOU are comfortable with. Do your research it pays off. Heather open RNY 4-12-04
