Wait.......

I am new to this sight and I am planing on going to the meeting on the 13th at the hospital. My qoustion is how long does it take to get in and see the Doctor and get Surgery done. Can any of you in lighten me. I also wounder about my insur. will pay for it as I have the Madcare A & B I also have the state for Kansas too. Does anyone know about if they pay for it or not?????? Hi Brenda, I don't know about your insurance so I can't help you there. I can't really remember how long everything took. But I remember I was waiting for Jan 1 for my new insurance to kick in because my old insurance wouldn't pay for the surgery. Then I was turned down initially and had to appeal. So this may have taken until Feb for me to be approved. You'd think I'd remember. Well I had my first meeting with the liv lite staff and the doctor on April 21st and then my pre op in early May and my surgery was May 28th. So, it was a few months, but it would depend on how backed up things are. Things happen where they could move you up to if you are on the list. So, just keep plugging away. Good Luck! Carmen
