looking for surgeon?

Hi everyone. I have already had surgery. I am 3 and a half months out. My husband is in the military and we are moving to Fort Leavenworth in April. Would you all know of a wonderful doctor in that area? I am coming from North Carolina and I have been so lucky to have a doctor with a GREAT bedside manner and I hate to have to leave him. When the Army says go- you guessed it, we go. Thanks for all your help. If you have any tips about Kansas feel free to let me know.

Don't fret, you will love the KC area. I grew up Air Force and remember all too well all the moves we made. I had surgery 6 weeks ago with a wonderful doctor in Overland Park (suburb of KC). He (Dr. Hitch****) and his partner (Dr. Hoehn) both do the surgeries through The Bariatric Center of Kansas City and Shawnee Mission Medical Center. Email me if you would like their phone/address. Also, I'd be happy to answer any questions about KC that you may have. I've been to Fort Leavenworth a couple times, though quite some time ago, but remember it seemed to be a nice base. cherie
