Would like to start a support group in Wichita

I am interested in starting a support group in Wichita. I feel that no matter how much I talk to my family and friends about this surgery, unless you are overweight and feel the same inner pains as I do and share the same excitement about this surgery a person can never completely understand. If you are learning, considering, preop, post-op, I would like to hear from you to see if you would be interested in a support group. I would like to meet others who know where I am coming from and share the same emotions. Jennifer

Hey Jennifer...I'm thinking there is a support group in Wichita...let me see if I can get some info for you...okay!!! There is also one here in Hutch...we actually meet tonight at the Hutch Hospital, 1st floor(basement) Room C at 6:30ish. Jennifer~ Where are you having your surgery done? I am waiting for approval from my insurance co. and if I am approved, I will be having lap RNY at Via Christi in Wichita. Just curious as to your specifics... Blessings, Rachel
