Surgery Date Change

My Dr. office called today saying somthing has come up nad the Dr is going to be out of town for my schedualed date and needed to reschedual 7 people. So I have a new date.... Feb. 16th Thanks almost a whole month farther away!!!!!!!!! I was heartbroken I have to look on the brighter side. We are planing to move on Jan 1st and I was feeling VERY rushed to get Christmas done, the house packed, moved, unpacked and finished by my sugery date of Jan 26. With the change in surgery date, this gives me a big breather and more time to get packed, moved and setup AFTER Christmas. Everything happens for a reason and it seems this reason my be better for me.

Hang in there Debbi. Believe me I KNOW how frustrating this is...my date has been changed twice by the doctor's office due to scheduling conflicts, and now that it is getting so close I am almost holding my breath! This will take some pressure off you for the holidays and your move. Try to enjoy every day and it will be here before you know it! cherie

Debbi, So sorry to hear of yoru surgery date change!! The wait is so hard to begin with and now to know you have to wait longer, well it just bites. I'm with you though because this will so make your life a bit less stressful between the holidays and moving. It always amazing me how much moving can truly take out of a person emotionally, and this way you will be a full strength by surgery day! Big huge hugs and hang in there, your day will come, Sharon

Debbie, I noticed on the Tallgrass site that there is a national bariatric conference, I believe during the time of your original date....just think of it this way....he's already a great surgeon just going to gain additional information (obviously, I'm assuming he's going to that conference, esp. since it is mentioned on the site....I don't really know that for sure). Your time will come fast, I know that mine has. It is now just 6 days away! Jenni
