Information about Nancy

Hi everyone: thought that I would get on here to let people know about Nancy (Topeka). she is my daughterinlaw, and has not done well since surgery on the 13th. Dr appointment on the 25th, involved a trip to hospital with all sorts of tests, Dr said she needed help, to eat, and hemoglobin was very low, potassium, too. Son brought her to me. On Thanksgiving I told him that something was wrong, and he should take her to hospital, this he did, where she started vomiting. Iv's started, and they moved her to ICU, tests proved that she has an obstruction in her colon, also a large abscess on her liver. They started by bombarding the liver with ultrasound, and put in a drain, this has been draining steadily since then. Dr. said she was lucky that she came to hospital, as she was near a heart attack, also, would require a couple transfusions. Son says she is hooked up to all kinds of monitors, and it may take her a long time for recovery. At this time, she is very disallusioned about her surgery. Thanks goodness mine went well, and I was able to care for her for a couple days. I still have thee children. We need prayers for her, and all of us. Ginny Graham

I am soooo sorry to hear about Nancy's troubles and complications. I will keep her and your family in all my prayers. Keep positive thoughts and be sure to let her know that there are many people pulling for her! cherie

I'm praying for Nancy and your whole family. Please keep us updated on her. I'm going to Topeka for my pre-ops on Dec. 9. I hope she's out by then, but if not, maybe I could stop by and see her? Jenni
