Didn't think about that.... Won't they be surprised when they wake up from their winter naps!!!! Maybe WE should have done that too...it would have been nice to go to bed fat-n-sassy and wake up a skinny minnie!!!! DARN BEARS!!!

Hey Fran...THANKS!!!! Sharon did a good job!!! As far as Thanksgiving...the thing that I have the hardest time with is the cranberries and the pumpkin pie...soooo, I make them and make them sugar free or no sugar added!!!!! Nobody could tell the difference last year!!!! I didn't make a traditional pumpkin pie...I did a layered pumpkin/cheesecake thing..TOOO YUMMMY!!!!!!

Deanna, It was wonderful to see you tonight in JC! You look sooooo good! Thanks for all your encouragement! I also wish the KS board was a little more "active." I check it pretty often but don't see many new posts. I'll have to try to post a little more often myself! God bless you all! Jenni PS- I just counted and I have 37 days to go!

I wish I could hibernate!! I've just been swamped at work and just don't have time to write much. Then add on that I was trying to fight off a cold all last week too, I was just done for. I've also been working to get as much done before my PS on the 24th so that when I go back to work after Thanksgiving that I'm not running around like crazy. Things will be a bit better after next week when I'm not losing one day a week extra for the training I'm doing within the districts, so I'm basically holding on to that. On another note, I called PS office yesterday to check the status of my TT approval/denial from insurance from when I was there Oct. 21. Turns out that it hadn't been submitted yet!!! The surgeon is out of town all week so of course the letter can't dictated until he gets back, next week! I was hoping to have an answer (obviously hoping for approval) and then have surgery over Christmas break. Now that puts me back even further. His nurse was also gone this week, so I will get with her next week and see if I can at least be scheduled over my break and if I'm denied I can cancel, save up the $$ and look at having it done over Spring Break. So, that's the latest with me. Thanksgiving will be nothing major here. Have decided to stay home and recoup from surgery, but will still cook the turkey (hubs will be doing much more than he's used to, LOL), gotta have my sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, and stuffing. Of course I say that NOW, but we will see. The great thing is that I can still enjoy the traditional Thanksgiving, only in moderation. Also, if I'm not up to cooking or standing over hubs to have him do it, our neighbors will be having a huge family dinner across the road and we can join their HUGE group. Fran, as far as the relatives go, just don't worry about it. Eat what you can, save what you can and freeze the rest! If they are so concerned with what you are eating turn it around on them. Remind them that your plate is 1/3 of what they are eating and when you're done eating you'll be satisfied, not stuffed like the turkey! LOL Seriously, just do your best, don't worry about the family stuff, they will say things no matter what you try to do about them. Just enjoy yourself and have fun. If you want to try something new and are worried about dumping, make a small amount of it before the big day and try it. I have a small bite of everything I want. This year though I will cook far less than I have in the past since this will be our first holiday just the two of us, but it will still be fun. Big hugs to all! Sharon
