Did you have surgery at St. Lukes with Dr. Helling?

I was scheduled to have surgery there until they temporarily suspended the bariatric program. If you have had surgery there would you consider writing the hospital and telling them how important bariatric surgery is for those of us whose lives depend on it? I wonder if it is a money thing... Dr. Helling and his staff seem very competent and here I am with no surgeon as I go into my appeal. Heck if you didn't have surgery at St. Lukes you can write them anyway and let them know how important this is to so many of us. The top 2 people at the hosptial are Richard Hastings and George Hays, I'm not sure of their titles. The hospital address is 4400 Wornall, Kansas City, MO 64111. We have to make people aware of our plights!
