Getting so Excited!!!!
OOPS.. Sorry, Hit enter when I shouldn't have.
I'm getting so excited about surgery. So much so that I'm haveing trouble sleeping becuase I can't shut my brain off from thinking about how skinny I'll be. It's like being a kid at christmas all over again!
Yesterday, I did have a bit of depression. Thinking of the negative and what if my insurance says no. What would that do to me. I would be devistated!!!
I saw that JC LivLite has a $200 consult fee. the BTC only has an $85 fee.
I saw somehting on 60minutes II recently... about a hormone that makes you hungry produced in the stomach. Anyone else see that?
Hey, where did you see that Liv-lite has a consult fee??? I called Patty at Liv-lite when I saw that cause I was never charged ANY fee for meeting with them. She said they have NO fee, now when you go see the Doc for the first time you get charged for a visit but I'm thinkin' it wasn't anywhere near $200...can anybody else remember what they were charged for a visit??? As far as not sleeping because your sooo excited...we've all been there!!!! You do need to realize the risks that are involved but you just CAN'T focus on that you need to focus on the POSITIVES and keep your attitude POSITIVE. I tried really hard not to get tooo excited about it until I was approved...just so I wouldn't set myself up for tooo hard of a fall...but we all know that I would have been DESTROYED had I not been approved, then I would have got up, brushed myself off and FOUGHT!!! Didn't see the 60 minutes either sounds interesting!!
Congratulations on this journey you are about to undertake.. Need to ask.. what is BTC?? I am in Kansas too and take the two hour drive up to Topeka.. have my date of Sept 15th and am already nervous as a cat on a hot tin roof.. but ever so happy.. Saw the 60 minutes II .. very interesting indeed. Good luck on this very happy road.. you have alot of good company. Take care... Fran
hey Debbi: It is good to hear from someone so close. how about 18 miles?? I live just south of Reading. I am going to Dr. Steward, how about you? I go to the support group meetings every month at Topeka. There is a woman living just south of Americus that has had the surgery, she has a "nail shop" (fingernails) on 6th and Sherman, her name is Pat, (I think), McCoullough. I see her at the meetings. I have my date--so far away, or so it seems. Nov 3rd. I can't wait to have this surgery, and get on my way to being thin. Email me anytime. I am also listed under Dr. Steward's Patients.
