Tallgrass surgeons & DS

Does anyone know if all the surgeons at Tallgrass perform the DS?  If not, which ones do?  Does the patient choose the surgeon or is one assigned?

 I don't know if they do that or not.  I just know that when I called to make my appt. the sent me to Dr. Bernstein.  she is great. 

Hi...I am having a DS done by Dr Brent Stewart @ Tallgrass on 1/29/09. My surgery is a revision from a VBG done 20 years ago. I am sure can request your surgeon.

Hi... I, too, am having a DS with Dr. Brent Steward.  I do not know if the rest perform the DS or not.  Seems like the few DS patients I am aware of have had Dr. Steward.

I have Carlyle Dunshee II

Dr Bernstein is doing my DS.  I dont have a date as yet.  She is really great.

I'm not sure which ones perform the DS but I do know you can choose your surgeon.  I am having a RNY hopefully in Oct. and I chose Dr. Dunshee.  I felt he had the experience I needed to feel safe. However, every surgeon there comes highly recommended.  Ask Becky as to the experience of each one.
