New Here I am Pre Op

My husband and I recently moved to Kansas and I began my journey with WLS. I have had all my pre op testing, evaluations and am currently scheduled for Lap RNY on Sept 15th. I am going through Innovative Weight Loss Solutions and I have been to one support meeting last month. I look forward to chatting with people in the area who are going through the same as me.

I am pre-op (VSG in the fall). I hope you can find other pre-op RNYers to chat with, as I know the 2 surgeries are vastly different. However, the weight challenges are the same. I'm sure you'll be happy when your surgery is over and life begins. Profile message me anytime you wish to talk.

I had Lap Band in Topeka.  I am so happy with it and I think we are lucky that they are giving people options to help with wt. gain.  Ask away if you have ?????????

Hi there. I am also hoping to have RNY. I saw my pcm and got a referal and am now waiting for my consult with the surgon. I live in Wichita but am going to Topeka for my surgery. I see your hubby is Army, mine is Air Force. Have you had any problems with Tricare yet?  Good luck, I bet you are excited, I know I am!!

HI I hope you have a smooth sailing with Tricare I didnt have any problems with them. They ask for medical records for 5 years, ask you what diets you've tried how long you were on them, how much you've lost and gained. My ex husband is in the Air Force also, my oldest two kids live in that area with their dad.
