3/4 of a year...where the time goes

Wow, I just can't believe that it has almost been 9 months since my surgery....and I'm down 142 pounds. For those of you with the good fortune to have this life-changing surgery, you know what I mean when looking back on it. For others contemplating such a move, this is just too incredible to believe at times. If you are going to do this, I encourage you to document what you have gone through. I maintained a pretty active profile here at OH and I don't regret it a bit. This certainly is a good place to share your thoughts and your troubles as you proceed through it. I hope that your personal journey to/through WLS is as favorable as mine has been. I've made it successful through a well-done surgery by my great set of docs and then my hard work and determination. You can do it too...so good luck. John

Congrats on your success.  So far I am just thrilled with my surgery also.  It has been a gift (which I paid for) but a true gift to help me achieve something I haven't been able to do on my own for quite some time. I agree with you about it being a good thing.
