Loans for procedures

I was recently reading an article from november of 07 and someone asked if there were banks or financial institutes that do loans for weight loss procedures. I was also wondering the same thing. Or could they take payments. I am considering tall grass. I have no insurance and for me to save the money to pay out of pocket would take 10 or more years. Hopefully someone can help! Thanks!!

There are a few (I think) that are geared towards loans for medical purposes. Sorry I can't think of one, you may post this to the main board, you would prolly get good info there. I'm in Topeka too by the way. Dr. Steward at Tallgrass did my RNY in 2004.

You probably had this question answered way before now, but just in case...  I went through surgeryloans.com to get my financing.  They have worked with Tallgrass before, and it really was a pretty simple process to line everything up.  I know that other people have used home equity loans to pay for the procedure too, but I decided not to go that route.  Tallgrass has some information about this - I'm pretty sure that's where I got the info about surgeryloans.com.  I had lapband in mid-October through Tallgrass (Dr. Berntsen) and have had a great experience.  Good luck!
