Getting Back On Track

Hi Everyone, Well, I've given myself a swift kick in the behind, and today is day 1 of my 5 day pouch test. I know my pouch is working, however, I figured this would be the best way for me to get myself back on the straight and narrow, since it's basically taking me back to eating like after I first had my surgery. I'm almost 1/2 way through day 1 and am happy to say, I haven't even thought of cheating, and know that as long as I can make myself drink all the water I will feel good. Wish me luck, and I'll keep you posted!! Hugs Theresa

Great.  Keep it up.  It is easier said than done sometimes but we all know that sometimes we just have real trouble.  The nice thing about the band is it is there to start working for us when we are ready to use it again. How wonderful you will fill to get through this day and then the next and next and then Wow,  all the lbs lost.  REady for spring.   YEA ! ! ! ! !

Thank you so much for your support!! So far it hasn't been too hard today, I just keep telling myself "I'm worth it".  I really don't know much about the lap band, however, I support everyone, no matter what type of surgery or plan they are using. We all know all too well how tough it is to lose weight, and I'm just very thankful to have found this site with all the great people!! Have a great day! Hugs Theresa

Hi Theresa, I'm just offering my support too. I am working at getting back on track. I've managed to drop the first 141 pounds and want to get those last 25 pounds off. So far, I'm convinced that these will be the hardest to get off. I've been enjoying my new life just a little TOO much. I am just keeping the focus of slow and steady and just following the rules the best I can. I make a lot of mistakes and have learned a lot along the way. Keep up the great work. John
