Dr. Malley

Hi, Im a newbie and just starting my journey. Just wondered if anyone has heard of dr. malley in overland park, KS? thx Jan

I've just only seen the commericals.  My surgeon was Dr. Joseph Petelin in Shawnee, KS.  He is very, very good with excellent office and nursing staff.  Hope this helps!!  Good luck on your journey. NPROGRESS

There is a website www.newhopetalk.com that has some people who have had Dr. Mallery perform surgery for them.  I have heard good things, but I had a different doctor. Christie

So my Blue Cross Blue Sheild of Kansas City approved the Lap-Band.  I got the letter and I was SOOOOO excited and happy and releived.  Then I called Dr. Malley's office to schedule my surgery and the 1st avaliable is JULY 24th......   What??  HUH??  He performs only 4 a month at Menorah where I have to go because of my insurance.  So, even though I like Dr. Malley, I cant wait that long.  So Dr. Hoehn, Dr. Selim, Dr. Opie, and Dr. Lopez all take my insurance, but I dont know when they can get me in any ideas or similar situations?  Who is best?  Where do they operate?
