I am so sorry for your loss... This is my Dr. office... I have a support group this evening and will talk about it there.... They have never lost a patient.... that was their record... This is very sad news for all of us wls patients... we only want good to come of this and then something like this happens and it brings us all back to real world of things that can and do happen...
My heartfelt prayers are with you all...

What a terrible thing to happen to such a caring person.  I was encourged and lifted by his desire and journey to get him where he was. He put up a good fight. You have lost a husband, father, and good person..my thoughts and prayers are with your family!

This is shocking and sad.  Of course there are no words that will begin to help your family heal, just know that this entire community is saddened as well. Sally

I wish you well on your travel to Kansas.  The weather may not cooperate to well but I sure hope so.  We make that trip to Denver a lot.  My daughter lives there.  I could drive it with my eyes closed.  Please know I am so sad for all of you.

I am SO sad for your loss and many posters are asking about the cause of death.  We've all been affected by the reality of this and are anxious to hear what happened.  You and your Dad are in our thoughts and prayers.  Please pass along heartfelt sympathy to your family at this sad time.  I lost my step-Dad 4 years ago to stomach cancer and it feels like yesterday.  So I know how you are feeling.
