Surgery Scheduled!

Well, I had my initial consult and scheduled surgery for Jan 7 at IABS (MISH) in Lenexa! http://www.iabsobesitysurgery.com/index.html I'm really excited and somewhat apprehensive too.  Dr. "K" and her staff seem outstanding and I know I am in good hands.  They are an  ASMBS "Center of Excellence" which was a must in my search. I too will have to go through the dreaded 10 day liquid pre-op diet, but that's certainly a small price to pay to get a positive start to life in Bandland.   Looking forward to hearing from all the other folks getting banded in the same general timeframe, as well as those experienced folks who can steer us down the right paths!

Awesome!  I bet there are a lot of thoughts, uncertainties running through your head right how if you are like me.  We can be on the loser bench together....my RNY is 12/20.   Best wishes!  Congratulations!
