just got call for dr. appt

I got a call and will be meeting with Dr. Bernstein at Tallgrass.  I think I have seen where she has been some of you's surgens.  Should I request someone different or do you all think she is really good?   I am thankful for getting an appt. and so ready to move on to the next step.  I really liked the Dr., can't remember his name that did the Sat. seminar.  But then that was because he seemed nice while talking to all of us.  

Cool- good for you!  I haven't heard from them yet.  Dr. Bernstein did my friend's band (and his daughter's).  He said he liked her.   Dr. Steward did the seminar.  Keep us posted.  Good luck.  When do you go for your consult?

I told them that we had this Fri. off from school and she checked and said,  She could get me this Fri.  I was excited as now I don't have to take a day off of school.  They are suppose to email me something I am suppose to watch then type out questions  for the Dr. to have.  As of yet I haven't gotten it.  But they sure seemed nice.

I am having my surgery done with her. She is really really nice. She made me feel reassured and comfortable. I have done a search on her and have heard nothing bad about her. Hope you like her :) I can update you after how she did. My surgery is in 2 weeks. :) Dani

Yes,  please keep in touch.  I  just got a call today and if all goes as planned they scheduled me for Dec. 3  I am excited but nervous.  It will work good I think with my schedule.  I can still enjoy thanksgiving then do my pre op and hopefully will be back at work and feeling ready for Christmas.  Are you doing your pre op diet????  How is that going?????   That is what I am not looking forward to. 

Congrats on it starting to happen for you :) It is exciting isnt it :) I am definatly at the excited but nervous stage.  I feel the way I did when my husband was coming home from Iraq.  I am gonna make a mock thanksgiving dinner before my liquid diet starts on the 3rd. I soooooooooo dont look forward to it.. But I should be able to eat Christmas dinner and that will be awsome since last Christmas my husband had left just 12 days before Christmas..  Needless to say it sucked..  Anyway... Back on subject LOL... I go for my pre op lab work on Thursday.  Then I go to see her and see what all she has to say. I will add you to my friends list so we can keep in touch :) Dani

Let me know how your appt. goes.  How much do you want to loose?  I bet you will enjoy your holiday dinner :-)   Is your hubby home now.  I just can't imagine the ups and downs that you and many other families are going through.  Hugs to you all.

I want to loose between like 175-200 But if I loose 150ish I will  be happy LOL I will totally enjoy my holiday dinner :)  Hubby is home :) It is so awsome to have him home :) It is definatly a rollercoaster ride when they are gone. I wouldnt wi**** on my worst enemy.. Thankfully my boys are all older I think that really made it alot easier for me. Tomorrow is the day. I like her from the last time I met her so Im pretty confident with her :)

She really is a nice  lady. :) She was very good with answering questions for me and telling me what all will be going on. She seems really laid back. Not uptight LOL.. She had done work with the zoo to save monkeys. How cool is that :)  Im tired today from making a Turkey etc since I start my liquid diet on Sunday. so if you can think of anything you want to know ask and if i can answer I will :D Dani
