Support Group in Wichita

Hi all!  Boy, have I been away from the boards for awhile!  Its so nice to see so many new faces here! I have read in a few threads that people are looking for a support group in Wichita.  We can always organize our own informal get-together at any time.  I'm always willing to meet with others and talk about our experiences, regardless of our surgery type.  We're all in the same boat and who can provide better support than someone whose been there? I live two hours from Wichita, but I'm always there on Tuesday afternoons, and I'll be there a couple of Saturdays in October (13th and 20th) so if anyone wants to get together, reply here or send me a message! I think you KC girls need to organize a road trip and get your skinny butts down here so we all can meet (ahem!  Helana!!!  )!!!!

Hi there! I just posted a new message about a gastric bypass/lap band support group in Hutchinson this Thursday, and the fourth Thursday of each month. The meeting is at Hutch Hospital at 6:30 p.m. in the lower level conference room. I have never been there, but plan to go this Thursday! Don't know which way you are from Hutch, but thought I would let you know! LaNeta
