We went through our bank and remortaged our home. It might not have been the smartest move, but I feel it will be worth it in the long haul.

There are several finance companies out there that will finance medical procedures.  I financed my entire surgery plus the funds I lost while off work (I'm self employed).

Here's a list of the companies my surgeon recommended.  They have web sites you can apply online at.

Medprova:   www.medprova.com  or call toll free: 1.888.444.0016

Medical Financing Solutions
https://efinancing-solutions.worldispnetwork.com/solutions/app.asp?oid=44&welcome=1   you can apply online or call toll free: 1.800.728.9585

Have you considered going to Mexico. I too had to pay out of pocket. I did alot of research and ended up deciding to go to Mexico. The cost here in the states was around 17,000. I was able to have it done in Mexico at about half the cost minus airfare. My doctor is Dr. Aurturo Rodriguez. He was simply amazing first class all the way. I had my surgery on June 5th and to date have lost a total of 51 pounds excatly. I would have never benn able to afford it here.
