Hello Kansas: What's your plan???

Hello to all you wonderful people out there. What's new with you guys??? It's getting hotter than blue blazes out there. We have been very fortunate with a cooler than normal June here in SE Kansas and then WHAMO, that hot weather hit. Well, how is your week been going? Are you making any weightloss/exercise plans??? If so, are you having any luck sticking to them? Earlier this week I made out a weeks worth of menus and I don't believe I've followed them one day.  It really makes me mad when I do stuff like that.  Also on Sunday I went for a mile brisk walk and came back home feeling great. I was dragging my rear end, but feeling great that I done it! Well so far, that's the only day I've walked WTH??? I personally just need to start holding myself accountable for sticking to my plans. So what about you? This is the place to post your delight or aggravation for following your "PLAN".

Hey Holly ~  I have a problem getting my butt out and doing the walking or just working out.   I like to swim and I keep saying "I need to go to the gym and swim but then I don't do it."   I do walk from time to time in my neighborhood but I don't do it as much as I should.   I have not returned to work yet and I am in hopes that when I do that, I will work out more.  The gym I attend is close to my work place which is rather distance from my home.    I am still learning how to eat and I normally pick at my food.  I need to eat more then I do and I have been working on that. We will see how this next week plays out.   I do get in approx 50 grams of protein a day and 50 to 60 oz of water but I need to up that and do better.  Hope all is well.....

Hey Holly

Yes it is HOT out there and I hate summer.

I am so looking forward to fall and the cooler weather. I know I too should be out moving my butt but I just cannot stand the heat. Even in the morning when it is in the 60's the 90%+ humidity keeps me in. I am still picking at my food too. I have been really really tired lately and can't seem to make myself get to the store long enough to get something other than single things that I can eat and that is getting very old very fast.

Hubby has to go to a doctors appt on Wednesday for suspected beginning stages of diabetes. So we are both going to have to get our butts busy and plan some healthier menu's.
