I JUST SAW YOUR PRAIRIE, KANSAS!!!

I helped my son, the drummer*, and his sweetheart caravan their household from Atlanta to Ft. Collins, Colorado a few weeks ago and spent 2 days driving from St. Louis to Denver on I-70 West and WOW! I fell in love with the prairie landscape. Especially the sunset we were treated to as we pulled into Hays, KS for the night. OhmyGod! (That was a prayer, folks. I mean it!) Now that I've driven through your spectacular state, I know that Greeley, Colorado (just a tad north of Denver) is just a hop, skip and a jump away for many of you. (I mean, c'mon, the POSTED speed limit is 75 mph!!!) Glad you liked our prairie, Lauralyn. I am discovering more and more that we DO have a pretty area, though not the mountains like Montana and Wyoming and Colorado! You would love the Flint Hills area of our little state in the spring and fall! And I know about those sunsets out in western Kansas. I graduated from Fort Hays State University in 1982! Of course, the ones around here are pretty darned pretty too - ha!  Come back when you can stay longer! As for the conference, I will be 5 days post op then, so probably shouldn't plan on me being there - ha! Hope it is a great success!

I am only calm, cool and collected because I haven't started my liquid diet yet! Then reality will set in. I will check out the Embody Success program.
